"We had never been to Vietnam before, so doing this on a Vespa would allow us to see how people there live. At first, my husband didn't want to go because he thought it wasn't safe to go on bikes, but he thanked me afterward because he had a great time. At each stop, our drivers told us everything that was going on. We enjoyed going around the rice fields, making wine, weaving mats, crossing the floating bridge, and going to the fish market. It was a great way to see Hoi An at its most rural. This is an excellent idea for anyone who wants to see how people live outside the main town."

Rural Villages Experience – Hoi An: Experience local life in the slow lane.

Setting off from Café Zoom in Hoi An, we head out west along the banks of the Thu Bon River, first stopping at a bustling local fish market before heading into the rice paddy rich countryside and local villages, stopping to meet a local family producing local rice crackers. Crossing a bridge over the Thu Bon River takes us through more quiet villages and then into beautiful farmlands, where we take a break for a local speciality dish while surrounded by seasonal vegetables in the picturesque fields of corn, eggplants, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and herbs (location is seasonal).

As the sun starts to go down, we set off through the rice paddies, passing duck farms, visit a local mat weaving family and then ride along by the prawn farms and over the river to visit a charming family home where they produce the local & potent favourite brew – rice wine. It’s then a short ride over the Cam Kim Bridge into Hoi An as the sun begins to set on this beautiful heritage town.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be advised by email / fax
The cancellation fees will apply:

Cancelation 30 days prior to arrival date: USD 50 per person will be charged.
Cancelation from 20 days to 30 days prior to arrival date: 30% of total invoice amount will be charged
Cancelation from 10 days to 20 days prior to arrival date: 50% of total invoice amount will be charged
Cancelation less than 10 days prior to arrival date or no-show: 100% of total invoice invoice amount will be charged

Refund Policy

If tour participants buy additional services which are not included in their program, the service fee will be charged on spot.

If tours participants cancel some services and / or portion of the tour program at their will during the trip, reimbursements shall not be made for these unused services and /or portions.

If in the course of the trip, an illness or mishap befalls a tour participant that entails extra services and /or medical attention arranged by company, all the related additional costs shall be defrayed by the participant himself or herself on the spot.
