  PRICES
  The price is net including tax, service charge on our website.
  For Travel Agent, Tour Operator or OTAs and for big groups, please kindly contact us.
  
  BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
  No booking shall be deemed to be binding and valid until Explore Real Asia has received:
  - The confirmation by the Customer; and
  - The required deposit or full payment paid for the booking.
  After receiving your booking request, we will proceed and get back to you within 24 hours.
  After successfully checking your booking, a confirmation letter and payment notification will be sent to your registered email, please check your email regularly to complete the payment to ensure your booking.
  Final Tour Confirmation and all vouchers will be sent to you at least 2 week before departure date.
  Optional excursions and additional services could be provided further to your request for which we will charge additionally. You must be aged 18 years or over to book with us.
  
  VISA TO VIETNAM & TRAVEL INSURANCE
  The customers may obtain the Vietnam entry visa by themselves at Vietnam Embassies in their country.
  If you need our assistance, please feel free to contact Explore Real Asia. We will provide you the authorized documents such as The Letter of Invitation to get the Visa to enter Vietnam - Upon Arrival at the airport. Make sure that all participants have their valid travel insurance card while traveling throughout Vietnam.
  
  HOTELS
  Check-in time: 14h00 and Check-out time: 12h00 in all hotels.
  Early check-in / late check-out are always subject to availability.
  
  

  IMPORTANT:

  1. Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. In the event of accommodation not becoming available at any of the above mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.

  2. Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

  3. Rates are not valid incase tour will fall in between black out period, events, exhibitions and any other similar related issues.

  4. Unforeseen escalation in fuel prices, new taxes/levies on hotels and transportation services or any hikes in entrance fees. Any large tax hikes and new levies shall be payable extra and shall be billed accordingly with reasonable prior notice.

  
  
  CHILD POLICY:
  
  A/ 0-4 years old: For land tour (except air ticket): Free of charge for one child who is under the age of four years old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and share the same room with adults. For the air ticket: depends on each airline policy. There will be charged 75%-90%-100% if any usage of airfare on tour.
  
  B/ 4-less 6 years old (no extra bed): For land tour (except air ticket): A tour price of 50% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 6 year old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. For the air ticket: depends on each airline policy. There will be charged 90-100% if any usage of airfare on tour.
  
  C/ 4-less 11 years old (with extra bed): For land tour (except air ticket): A tour price of 75% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 11 year old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is provided without any payment. For the air ticket: depends on each airline policy. There will be charged 90-100% if any usage of airfare on tour.
  
  D/ 12 years above: For land tour (except air ticket): Children at the age of twelve or older will be charged as an adult: 100% of full paying adult.
  
  Note: Please be prepared to show appropriate identification clearly stating the date of birth when confirming the services.
  
  CANCELLATION POLICY:
  Please be informed that to hold rooms on a definite basis, we have to forward vouchers or advance payments to hoteliers 30 days prior to the date of arrival with a final name/rooming list. Hence all lists should reach us not later than 30 days prior to the date of departure.
  
  + Once the vouchers are sent, any cancellation of rooms: 1 night retention would be charged for the number of rooms cancelled.
  + Cancellation received from 15-20 Days in advance from the date of operation: 50% of the whole tour will be the charges as cancellation fee.
  + Cancellation received from 10–14 Days in advance from the date of operation: 75% of the whole tour will be the charges as cancellation fee.
  + Last minute cancellation (less than 10 days) or NO SHOW: Full Retention would be charged.
  + In regard to Airfare, please note any cancellation once air tickets issued till 8 days prior to arrival, would be 50% of the total airfare ; however there will be Full cancellation charge per person if cancelled 07 days prior to arrival of the group. This policy is subject to change by the airlines without any prior notice. This cancellation policy is as of now and may change in near future. You are requested to please make a note of the same accordingly.
  
  SPECIAL REQUESTS
  The Customer must communicate special requests (e.g. ground floor accommodation, etc.) in writing to Explore Real Asia at the time the booking is made. We shall endeavor, if at all possible, to fulfill such requests, however, special requests cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of this Contract. Explore Real Asia will not be liable for failure to comply with a special request.
  
  REFUND & SURCHARGE
  If participants buy additional services which are not included in their program, the service fee will be charged on spot. If participants cancel some services and / or portions of the tour program at their will during the trip, reimbursements shall not be made for these unused services and /or portions.
  If in the course of the trip, an illness or mishap befalls a tour participant that entails extra services and /or medical attention arranged by Explore Real Asia, all the related additional costs shall be defrayed by the participant himself or herself on the spot.
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  1- The Customer is responsible for checking his/her travel documentation to ensure that:
  - the dates are correct and notify Explore Real Asia immediately of any errors or omissions.
  - his/her personal travel documents, e.g. passports and visas, are valid as per the regulations.
  2- If the Customer does not arrive for the Tour on the agreed date without notifying Explore Real Asia, we are entitled to treat the Tour as having been cancelled by the Customer and all conditions for Customer cancellations will apply.
  3- The Customer agrees to abide by the instructions given by our staff and agrees to indemnify Explore Real Asia against any loss or injury suffered as a result of failing to comply with said instructions.
  4- The Customer agrees to conduct himself in an appropriate manner so as to not to cause disturbance or offence to other members of the tour, Explore Real Asia’s staff or associates. The Customer agrees to not damage accommodation used during the Tour. Should such damage occur, the Customer agrees to pay the owner of the accommodation the price for replacing the damaged property with the same, or repairing it to its original condition as of the time the Customer damaged it.
  5- If the behavior, conduct, and/or actions of the Customer cause any damage to the accommodation in which the Customer is staying, or causes the delay or diversion of any means of transportation and/or the Tour, the Customer agrees to fully indemnify Explore Real Asia against any claim (including legal costs) made against Explore Real Asia by or on behalf of any relevant third
  
  SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH PRIOR NOTICE OR TERMINATION
  Either party may notice this contract changed or terminate any time by serving 60 days written notice.
  Explore Real Asia reserves the right to terminate the Contract if the Customer's behavior, conduct, manner and/or actions, either prior to or during the Tour, is likely to cause offence to other customers, or endanger the safety, well-being, property and/or benefits of other customers, Company staff and associates, or the Customer himself/herself. In such cases, full cancellation charges shall apply and Explore Real Asia shall have no further liability toward the Customer.
  
  ALTERNATIVES
  All tours are conducted with utmost care, we reserve the right to switch around the itineraries where actual circumstances demand. Furthermore, we may have to change a certain program due to the external causes lying beyond its control but shall replace the services cancelled with those of similar or better value with the supervision/agreement of the tour leader.
  
  COMPLAINTS
  If the Customer wishes to file a complaint in relation to the Tour, he/she should inform Explore Real Asia’s representative at the location where the complaint arose to allow us a reasonable opportunity to rectify matters. Notwithstanding the above, the Customer can notify Explore Real Asia in writing via the feedback form no later than 30 days after their return to their port of departure. We will not entertain any complaint received after this period. The Customer may also email Explore Real Asia’s Director at any time: Contact@ExploreRealAsia.com 
  
  LIABILITY AND TOUR PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT
  Explore Real Asia or its agents shall not be held liable for any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof. Tour participants waive any claim against Explore Real Asia for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. Tour Participants are solely responsible for being in sufficient health to undertake the tour and for taking all appropriate medical precautions. We strongly advise participants to obtain medical/trip and cancellation insurance.
  
  FORCE MAJEURE: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligation due to (including but not limited to) acts of God, climate change, natural disasters, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, war, terrorism, sickness, strikes, labor disputes, civil disturbances, theft or any other causes beyond their control.
  Under these circumstances, both parties will do their utmost to work out best solutions to these predicaments to limit the damages of both parties to a minimum.
  
  ARBITRATION
  Disputes over the contract and its annexes are to be settled by negotiation and mutual understanding. Failing agreement any disputes of difference arising out of or in the connection with the construction meaning or effect of this contract which cannot be settled amicably shall upon 30 days written notice being given by either party to the other be submitted to an arbitration agreed by both parties. Such arbitration shall be held in Vietnam. Decision of Arbitration shall be mutually binding and final.
  
  APPLICABLE LAW
  This contract shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of Vietnam.
  Tour participants, customers, tour leaders must abide hotel regulations, the laws, and regulations of Vietnam
  
  

• Payment Conditions

  DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT:
  
  In order to book any tour, choose your preferred tour and click on “Book This Tour”.
  
  1- As per our policy, if the booking value is less than -500 USD (total amount of all participants), you need to sign the booking voucher sent by us as your confirmation for the reservation, the balance of the total package will be paid 14 days ahead of your departure date.
  2- In case, the booking value exceeds +500 USD, a deposit ranging from 30% is required depending on the time the booking is confirmed ahead of your departure.
  3- For any cases, the balance of the tour package must be fully paid ahead of your departure.
  4- A deposit of at least 50 USD per person is required upon a confirmation of your booking.
  After we receive your deposit or full payment, we will issue our service voucher and send it to you by email together with our invoice or receipt of your payment. A non-refundable deposit which is equal to 30% of the total tour cost is required upon our confirmation of booking.
  5- The full or final payment is required 30 days before the tour commences.
  Should the tour be booked within 30 days before the tour commences, full payment is required.
  - Full payment must be made in US Dollars by Bank telegraphic transfer to bank account (details as in the invoice). Or Payment online method OnePAY or Cash upon arrival.
  - All banking charges and fees, if any, imposed by each party’s bank will be borne by the party accordingly.
  
  PAYMENT METHOD:
  
  For your security, we accept payment methods as below:
  I. Bank Transfer/ Telegraphic Transfer:
  - For large payments, we recommend Bank Transfers as the most secure transactions with the lowest fees. Please note: ERA does not cover any transaction fees applied by your bank.
  - Sender must cover all International bank transmission charges. It may include the correspondent bank's fees as well.
  - All Bank Transfers should be made to our bank accounts (details as in the invoice).
  - Important Notes for those who make the payment through wire transfer:
  After the transfer, please email us the transaction receipt issued by the bank. Once we have received your payment, we will begin securing your bookings.
  
  II. Visa or MasterCard secure online CREDIT/DEBIT CARD payment via OnePay
  - OnePay is a leading online payment company in Vietnam. Major credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard are accepted. You will be charged a 3.3% processing fee for Visa/ MasterCard, on the total amount paid, when using this service.
  - We securely connect with OnePay Payment Gateway to accept Online Card Payments. All of your card information is processed through SSL protocol with international card security standards. Your card information will not be stored at our system (Merchant).
  - After you have received our Invoice Payment link via email, please check all information therein. If all the information is correct, please read to Agree with the Terms and Conditions and check, and then click Submit.
  - You will then be directed to OnePAY Payment Gateway to pay us online with Visa and MasterCard credit card with following steps: Fill in your Card information:

  III. Cash payments
  Cash payments can be made for the final amount directly to Explore Real Asia via our company Tour Guide or account staff upon arrival with the Receipt to sign each copy for each of us. Thereby avoiding additional fees, please contact us for details on when final payments in CASH are accepted.

  Climate in Vietnam
  Vietnam’s unique geography creates a range of weather patterns, with both tropical and temperate zones.
  While March to May offers the best weather countrywide, there is no bad time to visit Vietnam, as there is always some part of the country with holiday skies. Below is a guide to the climate of Vietnam’s major regions and destinations, so you know what to expect during your trip.
  
  Northern Vietnam:
  
  Weather in Halong Bay
  December - March: cool to cold, misty, cloudy
  April - June: warm to hot, clear skies, sunny
  June - August: stormy, hot, humid
  September - November: mix of sun and clouds, warm to cool
  If you’re coming to Halong Bay, try to visit from April to June or September to November. You’ll have a better chance of enjoying sunny skies and pleasant temperatures. Other times of year, downpour or heavy mist is common, and tropical storms can sometimes cause cruise cancellations. However, if you’re on the water during this time you can experience a more mystical side of Halong Bay, with its famous karsts shrouded in mist. Temperatures in January can be frigid, so be sure to bring warm layers.
  
  Weather in Hanoi
  December - March: cool to cold, misty, cloudy
  April - June: warm to hot, clear skies, sunny
  June - August: hot, humid, rainy
  September - November: cool, clear skies, sunny
  The best time to visit Hanoi is usually from April to June or from September to December. From April, the days are normally hot, occasionally above 30 degrees with clear skies. September to November sees cooler temperatures of around 25 degrees and sunny skies -- perfect for exploring the capital.
  If you’re coming to Hanoi in June, expect soaring temperatures with humidity highs of 40 degrees, and the rainy season is in full swing (June to August). December is cool, misty and atmospheric, however from late December until March temperatures are surprisingly cold with lows of 10 degrees. You’ll want to bundle up.
  
  Weather in Sapa
  December - March: chilly, misty, cloudy
  April - June: warm, clear skies, sunny
  June - August: stormy, warm, humid
  September - November: cool, clear skies, dry
  Vietnam’s Northern destinations such as Sapa have a much cooler climate than the rest of the country, particularly from late December until March. Sapa sees the occasional snowfall in January, so be prepared. Hotels in the area are equipped with heated blankets and local spas offer herbal baths for you to soak in and warm up. Sapa is near-perfect in late April, as flowers bloom and skies are clear. Early October is also lovely, as its impressive tiered rice paddies turn golden just before harvest.

  Weather in Hue
  September-February: cool to cold, rainy, cloudy
  March-August: warm to hot, sunny, clear skies
  Hue, home of Vietnam’s last reigning dynasty, has a late rainy season, with storms and days that are wet and cool from September to February. Look out for occasional flooding from September to November. In the early months of the year, temperatures go down to 15 degrees, and January often sees a bit of mist. The rest of the year is dry, and in July you’ll have perfect beach weather, with highs of 35 degrees.
  
  Weather in Hoi An
  September - January: rainy, cool, cloudy
  February - August: warm to hot, sunny, clear skies
  Hoi An is one of the country’s picture-perfect places, but starting in September, tropical storms hit Central Vietnam hard. March is an excellent time to see Hoi An when the fields, gardens and streets are awash in bright blossoms and soothing greens. From May to August, the town can be hot, and you’ll want to head to the beach to cool off. From September to November, Hoi An sees a lot of rain and even a few small floods. The temperatures begin to dip and reach their coldest point in January, warming up just before the Vietnamese New Year.
  
  Weather in Nha Trang
  September to December: cool, rainy, cloudy
  January - August: hot, sunny, clear skies
  Nha Trang gets more than 300 days of sunshine per year, the most out of the whole country. Some monsoons hit between September and December, but in general Nha Trang has the shortest rainy season in Vietnam. Most of the year, the city has a pleasant temperature, with cooling sea breezes, although you should expect lots of sun and hot days from July until August.
  
  Weather in Da Lat
  April - October: rainy, warm to hot, cloudy
  November - May: cool to cold, dry, clear skies
  Nestled in the central highlands, this charming mountain city is appreciated for its temperate climate. The air in Dalat is always fresh and crisp. The mountains provide consistent cool temperatures and pleasant breeze, making it a great spot to escape the heat of the cities. Da Lat’s rainy season is from April until October. Temperatures are generally consistent with lows of 20 degrees in January and highs of 30 degrees in July.
  
  Southern Vietnam:
  
  Weather in HCMC & the Mekong Delta
  May to November: sporadic rainfall, hot, humid
  December to April: clear skies, hot, sunny
  Southern Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh city have consistent temperatures year-round. HCMC is either hot and dry or hot and rainy, although there are some pleasant fresh days early in the year, and some scorching days mid-year. Temperatures are normally around 30 degrees, with sunshine. From May to November, the wet season brings a dependable afternoon downpour, usually lasting a few hours.
  
  Weather in Phu Quoc
  July - September: stormy, hot, humid
  October - June: clear skies, hot, sunny
  The island of Phu Quoc has some of Vietnam’s best beaches and promises balmy weather year-round. However, you might want to avoid visiting in the rainy season, from July through September. During these months some storms roll through, making ferrying dangerous and the beaches less than ideal. The rest of the year is hot and dry, and Phu Quoc is a sublime tropical escape in December and January.

• Frequently Asked Questions

  Below is a list of frequently asked questions by visitors while on tour.
  
  Is it better to use dollars or dong for daily expenses?
  For everyday expenses, we recommend you carry a mix of US Dollars cash and Vietnam Dong. For larger items or when the exchange rate works in your favors, use dollars. For taxi, local food stalls and small purchases, it’s best to use Vietnam Dong. In either case, make sure you always have a stock of small notes so that there is no need to worry about change.
  
  Where can I change money?
  You can change cash at big hotels or at authorized foreign exchange banks in main cities. Outside the main cities and tourist area, authorized foreign exchange banks are few and far between. So if heading off the beaten path, remember to stock up with enough cash (USD or VND) to the last trip.
  Wherever you travel to, you’ll always find someone willing to change dollars cash into VND, though rates will vary. When receiving dong, you’ll be presented with a huge pile of notes. Refuse any badly torn notes and ask for a mix of denominations so that you always have a few low-value notes in hand.
  
  What kind of currencies should you recommend?
  Vietnam Dong is the official currency in Vietnam, which you can’t purchase or find difficult to purchase outside of the country. Major Banks in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city can handle quite a lot of different currencies, however, USD and EURO are the most widely accepted. American Express and Visa are the most popular brands.
  
  Any recommendations for eating in Vietnam?
  As per our advice, you should try food in small local restaurants, that’s the best way for you to feel the local breath in terms of food culture. While choosing a place for eating, we strongly recommend you choose places which are busy and look well-scrubbed, a stick to fresh, thoroughly cooked food. Restaurants where you can see food cooked, e.g.: steaming bowls of noodle soup along a street, are often a good bet and are a lot of fun.
  
  How safe is Vietnam?
  Vietnam is considered as among the safest countries to visit, however, like anywhere else there are instances of theft: snatch thieves and pickpockets on motorcycles are the worst. So be vigilant all the time. You shouldn’t bring with your valuables such as expensive watches, jewelry, etc.
  
  What is the time difference?
  Vietnam is 12 hours ahead of New York, 7 hours ahead of London, 1 hour behind Perth and 3 hours behind Sydney.
  
  When is the best time to have a trip to Vietnam?

  Under the booking page, all information related to your tour package is provided; all inclusions and exclusions are mentioned at our booking confirmation sent to you. Tipping is not compulsory. If you are satisfied with the service of our guides, drivers, a small gesture is an appropriate way to show your appreciation to them.
  
  How can I book a tour ?
  In order to book any tour, you just need to select your preferred tour(s), all tour-related information is available and sufficient by different tabs, and then click “Book this tour” on our website. Travel booking form template will automatically call the trip tour name, and you will be asked to fill in the existing fields. Once the form has been filled up, please click “Submit” to send you your inquiry to our team for your inputs to be processed. You may also “Reset” to cancel information you have just filled up. After your booking request has been received, all necessary arrangements will be made in accordance with your inquiry. Normally, we will respond to you within 1-2 business days. Confirmation message will be sent to you by email with all required details including payment terms & conditions.
