"We took the day trip from Hue to Hoi An as a family. It was a great adventure that lasted all day, and the views from the Hai Van Pass were stunning. Our guide was a lot of fun, knew a lot, and told us interesting stories. He always made sure we were happy and having a good time, and he made sure we had plenty to eat. Some of the highlights are a family that makes fish sauce from local fish, a traditional Vietnamese lunch, the Cham Temple, the "City of Ghosts," a hilltop pagoda, old war bunkers, Da Nang Beach, and ending in Hoi An. This trip got us where we needed to go and showed us a bit more of Vietnam than we would have otherwise. We were both a little sad when the tour was over because we had had so much fun and felt like we had become friends with the guys. We would definitely recommend using Vespa for this trip or any other.

Full Day Tour from Hue to Hoi An starts 7:30am

Lasts 9.5 Hours

*IMPORTANT NOTE* This tour is a one-way, full day tour. If you begin the adventure in Hue, it will conclude at your hotel in Hoi An. We can help you arrange private transportation if you’d like to return to Hue. This tour can also be started in Hoi An, concluding in Hue with luggage transportation included.)

We begin our coastal adventure & experience some great views, stop to see some of the thousands of family temples & ancestral houses, visit cottage businesses like fish sauce makers and boat building. We will learn about the history at a Cham temple and explore the religious traditions with a visit to the “City of Ghosts” with a coffee break in between. We head up to a hilltop Buddhist pagoda where there’s a stunning view of the lagoon. A local Vietnamese lunch will be enjoyed near the lagoon.

Heading up the famous Hai Van Pass, we take a brief stop to take in the amazing view of Lang Co Beach & Lagoon from near the level crossing. Then it’s up the Hai Van Pass for fun hairpin bends and windy roads, stopping at the top to see the old battlements and bunkers. We then head all the way down, along Da Nang Bay, then making a stop on the suspension bridge overlooking Da Nang City & the fishing port. A few kilometres later, we take our final break – on the world renown Da Nang Beach. This full day Hai Van Pass tour will conclude in Hoi An with drop off at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be advised by email / fax
The cancellation fees will apply:

Cancelation 30 days prior to arrival date: USD 50 per person will be charged.
Cancelation from 20 days to 30 days prior to arrival date: 30% of total invoice amount will be charged
Cancelation from 10 days to 20 days prior to arrival date: 50% of total invoice amount will be charged
Cancelation less than 10 days prior to arrival date or no-show: 100% of total invoice invoice amount will be charged

Refund Policy

If tour participants buy additional services which are not included in their program, the service fee will be charged on spot.

If tours participants cancel some services and / or portion of the tour program at their will during the trip, reimbursements shall not be made for these unused services and /or portions.

If in the course of the trip, an illness or mishap befalls a tour participant that entails extra services and /or medical attention arranged by company, all the related additional costs shall be defrayed by the participant himself or herself on the spot.
