Destination: Vietnam - Laos

Itinerary

Arrive in Hanoi - Noi Bai International Airport. You will be met at the airport by your English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel in downtown Hanoi.
In the afternoon we will see the Museum of Ethnology and then attend a traditional Water Puppet show. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists – men and women – stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water. The audience is meant to experience the atmosphere of a village festival. Then visit Hoan Kiem Lake (The Restored Sword Lake) and the Ngoc Son Temple, which is on an island in the northern part of the lake. We will enjoy a Cyclo tour along the narrow streets of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The Old Quarter includes 36 old streets with each name representative of the type of merchandise sold in it.
Note: Please kindly note that Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (the inside) will be opened only in the morning. It will be closed every Monday and Friday. Besides the outside of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, you can still visit Ba Dinh Square, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilt, and One pillar pagoda as usual. The Museum of Ethnography also closed every Monday." 
07:30 -08:00 am. After breakfast, drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Whoever comes to Vietnam should not miss the chance to visit Halong Bay, a picturesque blend of harmonious transition between the mountains and the sea. Halong Bay is in the Bac Bo (Tonkin) Gulf and stretches over an area of 1,500 km2 with three thousand green islands that look like jewels.
We will take a cruise on the bay (for 4 hours) to visit the caves and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on the boat while experiencing the majestic beauty of Halong Bay. Drive back to Hanoi late afternoon. 
Distance       Hanoi Central – Ha Long: 200 km =3-4hour transfer
The guide and car pick you up at your address to depart for Ninh Binh province (98 km). Start tour Trang An – Bai Dinh Pagoda. Arrive at the Buddha Prayer location in the Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, the home of the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam over 10 meters in height and 100 tons in weight.
Depart to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take a boat trip to visit the cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in all their mystery and wildness, and see the breathtaking scenery of mountains and rivers. Trang An is considered the Ha Long on the land.
In the afternoon, return to Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart by car from Hanoi to Sapa. After about 5 hours, you will arrive at Sapa for check-in hotel. 
Then we will trek around Sapa, about 12 km, to Lao Chai and Ta Van. These are Black H’Mong and Dzay ethnic villages. We will visit the people in their homes, visit schools and observe how they work the terraced rice fields surrounding the villages. The afternoon will be at leisure so you can explore Sapa for yourself the church of the Madonna del Rosario, the Sapa market, a lively meeting place for the various ethnic groups in the area and where the red Dzao and the black H'mong and the Kinh sell their products. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.

8:00: After breakfast in the hotel, the driver and tour guide take you to Cable Car Station in Muong Hoa Valley and spend 20 minutes with a cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. 9:00: Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations, and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. You will spend half of a day enjoying all the beauty of Fansipan Legend with Bamboo Garden, Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien……From the cable car, you can see it is the primitive forest Hoang Lien Son, poetic Muong Hoa, the magnificent Hoang Lien Son mountain range, etc. The higher you go, the more clouds you see, the temperature will also decrease and the wind can make your cable swing a little. Do not fear. It is just a little challenge for your courage!
12:30: Lunch in the restaurant in Fansipan
13:30: Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town, 14:30 - 15.45: Relax and discover Sapa town by yourself with some souvenirs.
Then transfer to Sai Gon

08:00 A.m, We enjoy a city tour to see Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh Market. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral (1877-1883) right on the square and the beautiful French-style Post Office (1886-1891), with its glass canopy and iron structure designed by Gustave Eiffel. Then, visit the famous War Remnant Museum, with armored vehicles, artillery pieces, bombs, and infantry weapons displayed both outside and inside. Then, continue to Cholon, the Chinese quarter, and discover the Thien Hau Pagoda, build by the Cantonese congregation in the 19th century.  Free time to explore on your own, or for shopping.

Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Phan Thiet City.
You will witness the bustling trade at Con Cha fish market where fresh seafood is sold. 
Then visit the Thuy Tu temple where hundreds of whale skeletons are showcased. Amongst them is the biggest whale skeleton ever found in Vietnam.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Today is free at your leisure to explore the city. 
Overnight in Luang Prabang
After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Today, we also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, we drive to Kuangsi Waterfall, Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Na Ouan, a Hmong village, Ban Ou, Laoloum Village and Ban Thapene, all Khmu villages.  This then takes us to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We return to the city by afternoon for lunch then we take cruise to pakou cave After drive back to Luangprabang we then take a cruise up to Mekong which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well time to explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine, after visited the Pak Ou Ccave but Pha An Stone Cliff don’t be missed. We then take a boat down to Luangprabang City by sunset time.

Overnight in Luang Prabang

After breakfast, we will visit the oldest, Wat Sisaket, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit Lao national icon, That Luang Stupa, and we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Then it’s free time for little shopping then transfer to the airport. (End of Service)
