Important: Vietnam E-Visa Processing Update for Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025

Planning a trip to Vietnam early this year? Please be aware of a critical update regarding the Vietnam e-Visa processing schedule due to the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday. At Explore Real Asia, we want to ensure your travel plans go as smoothly as possible.

E-Visa System Suspension The Vietnam Immigration Department will be officially closed for the national Tet holiday. As a result, there will be no e-Visa processing from 25th January to 2nd February 2025.

What does this mean for your travel plans?

  • Apply Early: If you are planning to arrive in Vietnam during late January or early February, you must submit your e-Visa application well in advance. We highly recommend applying at least 2-3 weeks before your intended departure date to avoid any disruptions.

  • Expect Potential Delays: Applications submitted just a few days before the closure period will likely experience delays. These applications might not be reviewed or approved until the immigration offices reopen on February 3rd.

Experience Tet with Explore Real Asia Traveling to Vietnam during the Tet holiday is a deeply rewarding experience. The streets are decorated with vibrant flowers, and you can witness authentic cultural traditions firsthand. However, logistics like visas, transportation, and accommodation require careful advance planning. Don't let visa delays disrupt your dream vacation!
