Lung Cu Flag Tower – Vietnam’s Northernmost Point

Perched high above the karst mountains of Hà Giang, the Lung Cu Flag Tower marks the very top of Vietnam. Rising at nearly 1,500 meters, it is more than just a viewpoint — it’s a proud symbol of national identity. The 54-square-meter flag represents the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, flying proudly over breathtaking landscapes.

A Symbol of Vietnam’s Spirit

The tower itself stands 30 meters tall, built atop Dragon Mountain. From here, you’ll see endless mountain ranges, rice terraces, and villages stretching to the horizon. On clear days, the view even reaches across the border.



The Trek to the Top

To reach the flagpole, visitors must climb nearly 400 stone steps. Along the way, murals and carvings tell stories of Vietnam’s history. The final steps reward you with the powerful sight of the flag against open skies.
