ERA Story 2025 – A Year of Real Journeys and Real Connections

2025 was a year filled with movement, encounters, and meaningful journeys. From misty mountains in the north to tropical waterways in the south, Explore Real Asia welcomed travelers from across the world to experience Vietnam through culture, daily life, and human connection. This video captures not just destinations, but moments shared along the way – smiles, conversations, and memories created together.

Throughout the year, guests from Belgium, Indonesia, France, Hungary, and Norway... traveled with Explore Real Asia, each journey shaped by curiosity and a desire to explore Vietnam beyond the surface. Whether traveling as couples, families, wellness groups, or friends, every trip reflected a different rhythm of discovery.



From Europe to Southeast Asia – Journeys That Matter

Our Belgian guests began their journeys with curiosity and openness, traveling across Vietnam from Sapa’s mountain villages to the vibrant streets of Saigon. Along the way, they experienced local homestays, traditional food, and landscapes that change from rice terraces to river deltas. These long journeys allowed travelers to see Vietnam as a whole, not just a single destination.

French travelers combined Vietnam with Cambodia, discovering ancient heritage, local communities, and cross-border cultural connections. From historic cities to countryside roads, these journeys highlighted how travel becomes richer when guided by local knowledge and authentic encounters.

Hungarian groups explored Vietnam together, sharing experiences from north to south. Traveling as a group allowed deeper interaction, laughter, and collective memories – from walking through old quarters to enjoying quiet moments in nature.



Wellness, Culture, and Slow Travel

One of the highlights of 2025 was the Yoga and Wellness journey led by Mr Denny and his group. This program blended gentle movement, mindfulness, and cultural exploration, allowing guests to slow down and reconnect. Morning practices, peaceful landscapes, and thoughtful itineraries created a balance between inner wellness and outward discovery.

Norwegian groups experienced Vietnam through hands-on activities and local life. From making banh trang with local hosts to learning how to navigate traditional boats, these moments brought genuine joy and connection. Simple activities became unforgettable memories when shared with welcoming communities.

Several Norwegian groups traveled through Phan Thiet, Ben Tre, Saigon, Cai Be, and Mui Ne, discovering Vietnam’s coastal charm and Mekong Delta daily life. These journeys focused on interaction, food, and landscapes shaped by water and tradition.



People at the Heart of Every Journey

What defines ERA’s story is not only where travelers go, but who they meet. Local guides, hosts, artisans, and drivers are part of every journey. Conversations over meals, shared laughter during activities, and quiet moments in villages all become part of the travel experience.
